Tea needs a moisture barrier, a degassing option for whole-leaf, and a brand that translates across retail shelves, ecommerce unboxing and hospitality. We make cartons, kraft bags and gift-ready tea boxes from low MOQ runs. Tea brands — from loose-leaf specialists to bagged commodity lines — deal with a set of packaging problems unique to the category: moisture ingress that flattens flavor between harvest and opening, oils and fragrances that transfer from the paper to the leaf, and a retail format (small cartons, tall tins) that is hard to photograph without a shadow. Typical MOQ is 500 units for folding cartons and 1,000 for foil-lined kraft bags, with volume orders of 5,000–20,000 units common for brands with retail shelf space. Lead time is 15–25 working days from sample approval, with an extra week for lines that require degassing valves or PLA windows. Common pain points include cartons whose inner liner transfers paper flavor to the tea, kraft bags whose heat seal fails at the bottom seam when filled, and side-gusset cartons that leak aroma in storage. We address these by using food-grade inner liners without added flavor agents, applying double heat seals to the bottom of every bag, and offering PLA or foil-lined sachets inside outer cartons to prevent aroma loss.
