Candle Packaging

Boxes and sleeves that protect the wax and the brand.

Candle packaging must protect a fragile, often oddly-shaped product, look great on a shelf or in a flat-lay, and survive shipping. We produce rigid two-piece candle boxes, tuck-end cartons and protective sleeves. Candle makers face three recurring problems: the wax scent escaping or staining the box interior, glass tumblers breaking in first-mile shipping, and the tall, narrow profile of most jars being difficult to pack without waste. Typical order volumes run from 250 to 2,000 units for independent soy-candle brands, and 5,000–15,000 units for brands with retail stockists. MOQs are 300 units for a rigid two-piece box and 500 for a folding carton. Lead times are 15–22 working days from sample approval; holiday-season orders (November and December) should add a two-week buffer to account for factory capacity. Common pain points include lids that rattle and chip the wax during transit, uncoated interiors that absorb fragrance oils, and sleeves that tear when the customer tears open the plastic outer wrap. We address these by designing snug fitting lids with internal paperboard collars, applying water-resistant inner coatings to prevent fragrance staining, and producing tear-strip-ready sleeves that open without tools. From eight-ounce tumblers to three-wick statement vessels, we engineer die-cut inserts, rigid two-piece boxes, tuck-end retail cartons and kraft sleeves with foil stamping, spot UV and soft-touch lamination.

Frequently asked

Questions about candle packaging.

Custom die-cut inserts.

We design die-cut corrugated or paperboard inserts that cradle your specific candle shape. The insert is included in the box at no extra tooling cost above $500.

Coated interiors prevent staining.

Candle box interiors are coated with a water- and oil-resistant barrier to resist fragrance oils and melted wax marks. Kraft boxes use a grease-resistant inner liner; rigid boxes use a coated inner wrap. Standard cartons without coating are available for unscented and utility candles.

Yes — die-cut kraft or SBS sleeves.

We supply custom-die-cut sleeves to fit any standard 8oz, 10oz or 16oz tumbler, or your proprietary shape. Sleeve MOQ is 500 units. A paperboard sleeve is a cost-effective alternative to a full rigid box for high-volume or seasonal runs.
