Chocolate packaging balances food safety, premium presentation and seasonality. We produce folding cartons, two-piece gift boxes, and seasonal sleeves for chocolate makers and confectionery brands. Chocolate buyers must solve three problems at once: preventing cocoa butter from blooming through temperature fluctuation, keeping the unit price of a premium box low enough to sell at retail, and supplying seasonal designs that refresh every holiday without massive re-tooling costs. Typical order runs are 500–2,000 units for artisanal chocolatiers and 10,000–50,000 for confectionery brands with national distribution. MOQ for folding cartons is 500 units; rigid two-piece gift boxes start at 300 units. Lead time is 10–15 working days from sample approval, with a three-week buffer strongly recommended for Christmas, Easter and Valentine launches, when factory capacity is booked well in advance. Common pain points include inserts that crumble when a customer opens the box, surface coatings that pick up finger grease on a supermarket shelf, and cartons whose foil stamp scratches against its neighbor in the shipping case. We address these by using food-safe paperboard inserts designed for reuse, specifying anti-fingerprint matte and soft-touch coatings on retail cartons, and supplying shipping shippers with die-cut partitions to prevent foil-to-foil contact during transit.
